Welcome
to Royal's Australian Shepherds! The
Australian Shepherd is a beautiful dog with a
wonderful temperament. He is intelligent, consistent,
has a strong desire to please, and always appears
to be in command of a situation. Aussies are excellent
family companions. He is devoted, faithful, and affectionate
to his family. This dog is not a dog to left outdoors,
but, rather, he must be made a full member of the
family.
A very versatile breed, the Australian
Shepherd is seen competing in several areas, such
as conformation, obedience, agility, tracking and
herding. He can be also quite often seen working
as a therapy dog.
We are careful to research
pedigrees and observe dogs prior to mating
to insure the best
possible pups we can
produce. Our goal is to improve our line
with each breeding and to maintain standards
for the breed. Our concentrated effort
is to produce dogs with great temperaments.
While we try to breed healthy, intelligent
dogs, free of defects, the Australian Shepherd
breed is known to have several significant
health risks, and even with all the proper
screening, problems can arise. We work
hard to insure that all of our breeding
stock is certified free of inheritable
defects.

Presently, the most of our Aussie
clan is from the Thornapple line. We own and
have, the most of our
girls and boys from Amy
Garrison and Ellen Brandenburg, of Thornapple
Australian Shepherds. The help and advice from
our wonderful friends of Thornapple have been
very important. They are our friends and are
a great inspiration for us.
Our Aussies are home raised
and we socialize our
pups from birth, to help
ensure that you get the sweetest addition to
your family. Breeding and raising our dogs has
been a labor of love for us and we are pleased
to have the opportunity to share our love and
enthusiasm for these wonderful breed.
We love our dogs and we enjoy
their company. Our dogs are willing to do anything
we ask of them, including long days at dog shows
or coming to work with us and sleeping under
the desk. Our Aussies are raised in our home
with us. They get an incredible amount of socialization
and we take pride in the personalities that develop
